Rebranding

Rebranding

When is rebranding a good idea? What is “rebranding”?

When a company or other entity decides to “rebrand”, they seek to alter their “image” or “visual identity”. Rebranding usually entails revising or re-visioning their logo (an entity’s most recognizable visual element) and any other designs (e.g. business card, letterhead, brochures, website, etc.) that reflect that identity.

An entity may decide to rebrand because of an old, worn-out design, wishing to refresh their image. Though, some identities can withstand decades and still remain relevant. Other times, maybe an entity’s current identity isn’t working, so they need a new concept. Sometimes an identity just needs a “facelift”.

Take a look at these designs, and notice the “Before” and “After” logos. You can see why these companies may have decided to rebrand:

Your rebranding worked, your site looks much more professional than before, I’m amazed how you integrated the blog.
