I am a skeptic. Personally, I don’t yet see the usefulness of Twitter. So, naturally, I set up a Twitter account to find out why so many people use Twitter. So far, I have followed a few people, a few people have followed me, and I have made a few “tweets” (Tweet! Tweet!). I still don’t see the use…yet. I could still be wrong… What do you think? Do you use Twitter? Know someone who does? I want to hear your thoughts on the usefulness (or worthlessness) of Twitter.

I feel the same way and I am headed that way with Facebook and LinkedIn. You can waste a lot of time with these communication toys. It can be entertaining.
Do I use Twitter? I even wrote a Dummies Guide on how to sign up Twitter for the older generation… Actually, I was doing a LiveTweet for my client’s project. He wanted to do video live telecast for an event he was holding all over the country. But he doesn’t have the resources. So we used Twitter to have a live word-telecast over the nation. Worked perfectly well, everyone benefitted from it. I am not a fan of Twitter… but sometimes, it is useful – depending on how we use it.

If someone doesn’t have their own website, I can see how Twitter would come in handy for a live video telecast across the internet.

I was a skeptic to. At first I didn’t see the point but after a while, Twitter did give me a lift in visits. A big one at that.
Cool site by the way.

Yes, time wasting is an issue with social media. I haven’t seen much value in it, except every once in a while someone will have a link to something informative or interesting. But, then again, I thought that that is what Google is for.
